    If we agree that working together is the right fit, we will arrange your regular online CBT therapy or psychological guidance sessions, beginning with a comprehensive CBT assessment session. This ensures your therapy and guidance are personalised, structured, and tailored to support meaningful, lasting change from the very first appointment.

  • Research shows online CBT can be as effective as face-to-face therapy for anxiety, depression, stress, OCD, phobias, and trauma. ShenWise has delivered remote therapy since 2016 via phone and video achieving high recovery and satisfaction rates.

  • Yes. Your privacy is essential. Shenwise complies fully with UK GDPR, ICO guidelines, and professional ethical standards.

    Your information is kept secure and confidential unless there is:

    • A serious risk to your safety or someone else’s

    • A legal requirement to share information Clinical notes are securely stored for up to 7 years after your final session, in accordance with professional and legal guidelines. This is to comply with our regulatory obligations and ensure clinical accountability.

  • Yes. Sessions are private, secure, and encrypted. Information is not shared without consent, except in serious risk situations or legal requirements.

  • It varies from person to person. Most clients with specific mental health problems attend 6–20 sessions, depending on their goals and progress. We’ll review your needs regularly to ensure the sessions remain useful and supportive.
